Named after the legendary 3.3m male shark with a distinctive dorsal fin, the Slashfin is a state-of-the-art aluminium boat designed for speed, stability, safety, and spaciousness, accommodating up to 40 passengers and crew comfortably.

Guests gather at the Great White House in Kleinbaai before the excursion begins. Enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch and provide your wetsuit size for the adventure ahead. Receive a comprehensive safety briefing about the trip and learn fascinating biological facts about great white sharks.

Next, we embark on a leisurely 200-meter stroll down to the harbor to board the Slashfin. The journey to Dyer Island takes approximately 20 minutes, with a brief 10-minute ride to the shallows, where we anchor based on shark activity. Wetsuits are provided onboard for your convenience.

Once anchored, guests typically enjoy around 2 hours of shark viewing, though this may vary depending on conditions and the number of divers. During this time, you can also indulge in a refreshing hot water shower onboard. Weather permitting, we may take a quick trip through the renowned Shark Alley.

Finally, return to the Great White House for a debrief accompanied by warm soup and bread. Cash showers are available for freshening up before embarking on your next adventure.
